  3. I might have used brown sugar instead of white if my stock hadn't hardened. These apples had neither the taste nor the texture for eating plain, but they turned out to be enjoyable this way.

  6. I didn't use a recipe but if you look up cinnamon apple recipes, the sugar appears to be implied like it is with cinnamon toast. At least, that seems to be the case in the U.S. A version without added sugar would probably enjoyable as well, although I would have done it a little differently by layering them and cooking it down more.

  8. Akira Yamanita I have, until now, not heard of cinammon toast.
    In fairness, I don't think I've heard of cinammon apples either. I just saw your pic, said "yum, but needs sugar". I should possibly have asked if they were sugarred instead of making assumptions.

  9. Donna Runnion I'm a coeliac, most gluten free bread doesn't toast. One or two of the ones we've found fries well. The panninis panninify, but they don't really toast.
    Most of them just burn though.
